I always enjoyed making something from clay. Now I found something completely new. DECO Clay is a cutting edge technology of Japan clay artists and chemists, allowing to create thin details, impossible with usual clay. Result is unbelievably light and strong clay items. No wonder this clay is used for creating flowers.
Here are some pieces of bijouterie I created in quite a rare soutache technique. http://picasaweb.google.com/oiolin.gallery This White Pearl necklace is my favorite! Summer butterflies inspired me to create the pattern of this Purple bracelet And this Tender Rose reminds me of ancient Indian culture
After creating the humans I got tired of fine felted features like fingers and felted a lion for a change. That turned out to be the beginning of the cat family obsession! Here he is, the First lion. He was sold soon and I missed him so much... http://picasaweb.google.com/oiolin.gallery/Lion I felted the Second one. http://picasaweb.google.com/oiolin.gallery/Lion02 And although I haven't sold him yet ;) I proceeded felting the big cats. I've already made a panther once, so I wanted to try something new. A Tiger? That was a challenging although very interesting task! And you know... some people say this tiger is my self-portrait :) Cautious and open-hearted, curious and good. http://picasaweb.google.com/oiolin.gallery/Tiger At the same time I took an order for a koala. And I felted a nice one. Maybe too nice because my daughter refused to give it away! What could I do? - Felt another one. So here they are: http://picasaweb.google.com/oiolin.gallery/Eating
